About Me

jnana-mudra-full-lotus-profile.jpg

I began practicing hatha yoga over 15 years ago with my first teacher, Kiro Kopulos, at InfiniteFlow Yoga. It’s at Kiro’s studio that I now feel honored to offer classes, supporting others on their own yogic journey.

Over time, my practice expanded to include traditional Ashtanga yoga, which I first encountered in 2019 at Mala (Monona) Yoga. Experiencing its transformative effects both on and off the mat, I have continued to study and practice Ashtanga ever since — at home and by traveling to workshops, intensives, and trainings with authorized teachers across North America.

In 2023, I became a certified Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through the RajaHatha School of Yoga™ in Madison, Wisconsin. Later that same year, I completed a 100-Hour Assisting School through the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario.

These experiences — across styles, teachers, and different communities — have deeply shaped my own path and are infused into the teaching I share.

I launched Begin Again Yoga LLC in 2025 with the belief every person can benefit from yoga and with the vision to support others as they discover the benefits of yoga.

With gratitude, I recognize my gurus Kiro Kopulos, Amy Pearce-Hayden, David Robson, and Jelena Vesic, and the whole lineage of Patanjali and Ashtanga.

A note on lineage:

Ashtanga teachers receive formal authorization from the lineage in Mysore, India and I am NOT an authorized teacher. I hold deep respect for this lineage and the significance of authorization, which is why I continue to study and train with authorized teachers. This is also why the trainings they offer are called assisting rather than teaching schools — but they support me in my desire to hold space for Ashtanga in my local community.
